So, here goes a summary of our Cuti-Cuti-Malaysia to Langkawi. Seriously it took me days to actually write-save draft-write again-proofread and finally published it. Not including the tedious works of selecting and resizing pictures.
Trust me, our 3 days 2 nights vacation to Langkawi only cost us RM644, which I count as fair and reasonable. Or allow me to say cheap jugak. Three Malaysia Airlines return tickets: RM226. 3 days 2 night stay at Langkasuka Beach Resort: RM168!! Sungguh tak tipu! This is the best deal I ever grabbed for a hotel room. Very spacious deluxe room with 1 king size bed and 1 single bed attached together and flexible check-out time too! (We checked in at 12pm and checked out at 4pm). Murah kan and I bet you must be wondering how on earth that I managed to get this cheap rate. It was from Airasia.com. Saya pelanggan bagus, beli tiket MAS, book hotel through AirAsia. Hihihihi. So, win-win for both airline providers and me~!. =P And we rent a 3 months young Honda City (new edition) for RM250 (from 10am Friday to 4pm Sunday). Minyak 3 hari, RM30 sahaja. Pusing pulau 3 kali hokey~~
Saya anggapkan ini rezeki Adam Haris. =)
It was Adam's first time flying in an airplane and suprisingly he was totally fine and good through out the journey. Fine in a way that he pooped few minutes before taking-off and slept soundly until we touched down in Langkawi an hour later. Same goes on our flight back to KL. *Ayah kata, Adam nak jadi pilot, tu dia poo-poo atas flight. Hihihihi* Ape kena mengenalah kan??
We didn't do much in Langkawi except going to The Loft, hunting for chocolates and seafoods and visiting daddy's former school: MRSM Langkawi. Not a kind of holidays that you might be looking for but that was the best to do when you have an infant tagging along. Bak kata pakcik taxi, "H1N2 ni merbahaya". Baik pakcik, H1N2, I take note of that. Hahahahahhaha. *Tak baik lahhh weyy gelakkan orang tua*
So, that is all about our first day in Langkawi.
Hahahhahaha. Mesti korang menyumpah-nyumpah apa punya boring lah holiday dia neh. Apa nak buat, mak ikot laki pergi kerja, setakat bersenang lenggang dekat hotel boleh lah. Ini pun dah seribu rahmat boleh pergi. Hihihihi. But I noticed something about Adam. Dia tak suka tempat public. Mesti nak cranky, meliuk lentok badan macam rimas-rimas dan mulut bising komplen-komplen hapa tah. Tapi kalau duduk rumah, bilik hotel, fine dining restaurant, dia OK dan pasti sangat gembira.
Not much tips to be given with regard to activities on day one except on bringing your baby's changing mat. Sebab changing room dia takde lapik/tempat letak baby tu, so you have to place the changing mat on the sink itself. Changing room airport yang hanya ada sink. Huhuhuhuhu.
Plenty of car rental service available in the airport and please, make good use of your bargaining skill. I had my husband to do it for us. ;) Berbaloi lah sewa Honda City baru, pusing2 island 3 hari, isi minyak RM30 sahaja. Jimat, that's the word.
Owh, while waiting for the plane to take off, we actually tried to offer Adam with pacifier. Konon-konon nak get ready kalau dia nangis. But he spat the pacifier out! Dia tak reti hisap lalu mulut mumble-mumble komplen. Hahahaha. Kesian, kurang satu skill kamu Adam. =P
