Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream & Olay Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream & Olay Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence

Good products deserve good reviews.

I've been using the departmental-store beauty products for many years (since teenage days) but somehow dah tak banyak significant improvement after the age of 30. Hahaha maybe tak sesuai to combat the fine lines that started to make its debut on face. Some texture macam greasy, some macam very thick and kadang-kadang adalah buat DIY mask at home ahahaha tapi maybe the content tak cukup anti-aging active ingredients that able to penetrate deeply into skin. T___T

So I started to change to something from the drug store pulak, mid price range (affordable!) and most importantly it comes with good reviews over the internet. After giving a try to few anti-aging products (don't laugh that I actually switch from whitening to anti-aging haha) over past one year, I'm actually quite happy with the results by Olay.

In specific, Olay Miracle Duo product range. Yes, the ones in red packaging.

Actually facial wash Olay Total Effects foaming cleanser memang dah lama sangat guna with Olay Total Effects cream and since I trusted the brand for quite sometime, I rasa nak try anti-aging regime pulak. After a month of using it, hasil dia memang sangat memberangsangkan.

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream, memang awesome! The texture absorbs quickly into skin, after apply pun kulit muka rasa smooth je, hydrate the skin really well; which definitely a great base before applying foundation. One great result lepas guna micro sculpting ni (which I think it provides better result since I combine with Olay Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence) ialah kulit muka rasa lebih fresh, pores and fine lines under my eyes pun not too visible now (this area is one tough job, but a slight improvement pun dah happy ok).

This is Olay's bestselling anti-aging moisturiser and totally works wonder to hydrate and renew the skin (so rasa lebih firm and lift up), sure nampak lebih muda lagi kan. Lagi satu product Olay Regenerist yang you all kena cuba (if fine lines and awet muda is your major concern hehe) is Olay Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence. I memang easily sold by the words like "boost" "youth" "young" "serum" "essence" dan seangkatan, rasa macam apply something really concentrated that can help to improve skin metabolism and renewal. Something yang penetrate deeply into skin.

This essence is very light-weight, boleh kata macam watery, bila apply terus absorb into skin. Hydrating, not oily (yeay!) and dia macam ada satu feeling lepas apply tu, kulit muka rasa silky and firm. Macam mana eh nak explain, tapi rasa wahhhh nice to touch lah. Hehe. Plus, the bottle cap which works as a dropper itself; open, press and dispense the essence onto your palm, so you will get just the right amount to cover face and neck area, jadi takla nak membazir.

And paling penting, Olay Miracle Duo beauty regime doesn't cause any break-outs on my face! Ini yang paling penting sebenarnya. Tak semua products yang kita cuba sebenarnya sesuai dengan kulit muka kita. Some looks wow but maybe tak suit Asian skin macam I ni, yang kulit tak cerah sangat, combination jugak rasanya hehe. I’m glad that my skin suits well with Olay Miracle Duo product range ni, probably the texture yang light and airy (as the name goes MICRO-SCULPTING), dia memang very fine sebab tu tak clog kulit muka kita. Those yang greasy and thick memang tak sesuai dengan my skin, dia macam create another layer on my face, so dirt senang melekat kat muka which probably increase the likelihood for breakouts.

Walaupun no dramatic improvement as yet, but to get my skin hydrated (even better than before), less visible fine lines (not totally disappear yet haha) and smaller pores, I dah happy for now. Of course nothing happen overnight, this is not a magic elixir that kapooooffff pakai hari ni, esok jadi Miss World ehehehe but in combination of the moisturiser, essence and night cream, religiously applied (two times a day), I yakin my skin will get better. Better combat the first signs of aging now, if later lagi banyak kerja kena buat hehe.

Here are some anti-aging tips for you ladies, mari lah menjaga kemudaan and keremajaan kulit muka bersama-sama hehehehe..

  • Focus what body needs first, then skin. Means, take supplements and drink plenty of water. Vitamin D and Omega-3 are good for skins and water, 8 glasses at least per day.

  • Halve the sun exposure. UV rays damages skin elastin and causes loss of collagen which then lead to wrinkles and fine lines. It also adds to discoloration and roughens skin texture. So always apply your sunblock. SPF-30 at least.

  • Pick beauty products that helps skin to regenerate cells and bring back the youth. Of course lah we can’t turn back the clock zaman muda remaja, but if can get and maintain at something closer to that and slower the rate of getting wrinkles and dull skin, why not. Olay Miracle Duo (Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream + Olay Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence) is definitely something you have to try on.

  • Keep your daily makeup routine simple. Well, ini macam clear cut. If everyday apply thick makeup, foundation, concealer and what not, mesti ada kesan dekat kulit muka kan. And lagi teruk kalau tak bersihkan betul-betul. So I guess it easier if can keep the routine simple. Macam I, after applying Miracle Boost Pre-Youth Essence terus guna two way compact powder. Cukuplah, no need thick foundation lagi. Hehe. Kadang-kadang when needed, baru apply bb cream but not everyday.
Ok that’s all for the tips. Very basic, definitely easy to do.

Nanti kita review lagi apa hasil dia selepas beberapa minggu nanti ok?

Check out website ni untuk more info https://www.everydayme.com.my/olay

Went to Japan last August. A whole lot of walking, from morning till night time, but look, muka tetap hydrate and tak berminyak. Tu la happy sangat, maybe minimal open pores, so kurang berminyak muka walaupun jalan kaki panas merata Tokyo hehe...

"Tiada Ngilu, Hidup Ceria" Chill Festival Launch.

"Tiada Ngilu, Hidup Ceria" Chill Festival Launch.

ADVERTORIAL POST (please scroll down to read my latest entry).

Tiada Ngilu, Hidup Ceria. Tagline tu memang perfect sangat. Sebab kalau ada masalah ngilu and gigi sensitif, memang tak ceria lah hidup jadinya. Or kurang ceria, sebab banyak benda tak boleh makan hehe. Yer la, imagine bila kita nak makan ice cream rasa ngilu, icy cold water rasa ngilu, hot coffee ngilu and many more, confirm stress and kurang ceria kan.

Anyway, I was invited to attend 'Tiada Ngilu, Hidup Ceria' Chill Festival launch last week and it was such an eye opening event. You know why, because most of us tend to ignore this "ouchhh zinging" problem and ended up telling ourselves, "nak buat macam mana dah tak boleh makan". No, we can actually overcome the problem but of course it is not an overnight work.

So this is where Sensodyne came to the rescue! Confirm kita semua pun biasa tengok iklan ubat gigi Sensodyne dekat tv and the term "masalah gigi sensitif" tu memang buat kita ingat Sensodyne products kan kan kan?

GSK launches Sensodyne ‘Tiada Ngilu, Hidup Ceria’ Chill Festival to encourage Malaysians to take control of tooth sensitivity and this campaign is targeted to reach 1 million Malaysians. Sounds too much? Worry not as Sensodyne roving team will be visiting 53 spots all over Malaysia. So yeah, sila perhati kiri kanan mana tau terjumpa the roving team, sebab Sensodyne is collaborating with Chatime Malaysia, Teochew Chendul and The Potong too! So besides product sampling nanti ada jugak other on-ground activities to encourage rakyat Malaysia untuk buat "tooth sensitivity checks".

Tapi kalau dah tak bernasib baik nak jumpa the team, you all boleh je buat test to online. Check this out. Sensodyne Tooth Sensitivity Check. So cool kan? I dah buat masa launch event hari tu and yeah, tiada masalah gigi sensitif. Well obviously, otherwise takkan la boleh cipta hashtag #shilashowerfoodland. Nevertheless, I guna jugak Sensodyne tooth paste sebab the product is formulated to protect from tooth sensitivity. To protect, so nak kena jaga lapisan gigi ni baik-baik supaya boleh terus makan ice cream, ice latte, ais kacang and so on hehehe.

The Oral Care Usage and Attitude study by Ipsos also reveals that 87% of Malaysians are aware of the conditions of sensitive teeth, making it the number one oral health issue in Malaysia and only one third uses sensitive toothpaste to overcome the problem.

Between, according to Dr Nurul Huda Hassan (Dental Surgeon yang super hot!), it is the regular daily use of toothpaste for sensitive teeth that maintains the sensitivity protection. And be aware that if kita berus gigi terlalu kuat pun boleh menyebabkan gigi sensitive, so jangan nak sental gigi bersungguh-sungguh sangat hehe. It's a common dental problem after all, but how we tackle it that makes a different.

For info, Sensodyne Base range which includes Sensodyne Fresh Mint, Sensodyne Gentle Whitening and Sensodyne Gum Care toothpastes are specially formulated to help protect against sensitivity, whereas Sensodyne Repair and Protect with Novamin helps repair sensitive teeth. For those who want instant relief from tooth sensitivity may use Sensodyne Rapid Relief that works in 60 seconds and which is formulated to create a physical seal against sensitivity triggers when used as directed.

For more information on the 'Tiada Ngilu, Hidup Ceria' Chill Festival campaign, hop over to https://sensodyne.com.my

Feminine Hygiene

Feminine Hygiene

Do you know that it is important to maintain a good daily feminine hygiene routine? Because very often this intimate part being neglected or if not, being overlooked, compared to other beauty matters such as facial care, hair care or grooming products. Not many of us realize that 'the world down there' haha needs the same equal attention and care as to what we give to our face and body. That private area sweat just like any other parts of your body, no exception. Because if no special attention being given to the intimate area, especially in this hot and humid weather, it can easily predisposed to infections and irritations.

Usage of feminine hygiene products is the one that most of us have been doing. Tho many other might have used spray, douching apparatus, deodorant, talcum and sometime gel with the thought to give a clean environment and nice smell to the land far under -_____-" Do you know that it is not healthy as compared to gentle hygiene wash? This products most often are alkaline in nature and that is opposite to the natural acid layer that our intimate area needs to maintain. Of course you still need to check the label even if you use only feminine wash. Make sure no it's  in a natural pH, mild, fragrance free, no alcohol and other harmful chemical ingredients.

As for me, I have been using feminine hygiene wash for many years ago. Of course I had a hard time during my first time buying it. Very difficult wohhh to decide which one is the best and mild for my skin. But finally, I decided to try on Lactacyd feminine hygiene wash and since then, this is the only brand that I trusted for. Why? Dermatologically tested and recommended by most doctors. :P Very often get free samples from hospital and clinics, hehehe. Happy customer stays for years.

There are so many hygiene wash being sold out there, but I decided to continue using Lactacyd even after so many years, mainly because of its natural and mild ingredients like Lactoserum and Lactic Acid which exist naturally in the female intimate area. No irritation and free from bad odour so far. So why change when I have something to make me feel confident and comfort at all time kan? And I like the milky substance and not in a foamy form, because foam and bubbles means the product is an alkaline based, kan?

So, if you feel like trying one and changing from what you are using right now, this hygiene wash can easily be find at all leading pharmacies, supermarkets and hypermarkets.

5 different bottles available for you to choose.

My husband must be wondering, why am I having all this bottle in the bathroom? Why can't just settle with one? Muahahaa. Well women usually have hard moment to choose the best of the best, so it just normal that we finally ended having it all. Senang cerita puas hati. Boleh pakai ikut mood. :P Most importantly, everything works fine to my skin, no irritation definitely.

  • Lactacyd White Intimate - natural lightening with marine and plant based extracts.
  • Lactacyd Revitalize - youth reviving with vitamin E and collagen.
  • Lactacyd Nourish - extra moisturising with 10% more milk extract.
  • Lactacyd pH 3.5 - normalises pH with Lactic Acid and natural milk extract.
  • Lactacyd Lasting Freshness - refreshing with lactic acid.

Owh, I carry this as well in my handbag. Perfect for outing. You know how the discomfort down there can sometimes kacau your mood while enjoying good time great foods with friends or families, kan? So this one, definitely my penyelamat :P

The Importance of Healthy Snacking

The Importance of Healthy Snacking

We all have different ideas on what exactly constitutes a snack, kan? And I believe many of us might considered any foods other than 3 main meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) as a snack. Basically, snack is a small portion food eaten in between main meals AND it should provide substantially fewer calories than main meals. Calorie is the keyword there.

Meaning to say, we don't consider a cheeseburger as a snack okey? When I said, "lepas minum Herbalife shake, in between main meals boleh snacking, tak ada masalah" that doesn't mean you can happily start munching on fries, chips, sodas or other kind of junk foods. Those are dead foods and obviously they don't provide real nutrients to your body. SEKALI SEKALA ok lah kot, but hello, for people who currently on diet, keep that away from your list, please. Choose something from the healthy side such as fruits, veggies (ahhh so cliche) or if not, whole grains, high fiber foods and healthy drinks.

Very few jugak yang replied, "takutlah snacking in between morning shake and lunch or between lunch and evening shake, takpa ka? tak gemok?" No it won't, unless you go feed yourself with something that is high in fats and sugars. The keyword here again is calorie; do calorie count. Remember I ajar macam mana nak kira calories? Yes, you should adjust the number of calories that you eat at every meal time (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) so that your total daily calorie intake remains adequate and matches your daily need.

CONTOH (ni for those yang consume Herbalife shake ok? Say for a lady, yang BMR only ngam-ngam 1300).
Breakfast - 250 (also assuming bancuh guna low fat milk)
Healthy Snack - 150
Lunch - 600 (nasi putih, ikan, sayur)
Healthy Snack - 100
Dinner - 200

See? Calories intake cukup. It is always important to ensure a healthy well-balanced diet containing the right amount of calories. Well of course, additional regular physical activity is very much required if you have big number of kg to shed off. Keep in mind that we dont want flabby muscle but a tone muscle, hence physical activity and exercise play a major role to this.

Sometimes we wonder, "why some people can eat quite frequently but never seem to gain weight?". Chances are: (1) they really have high metabolic rate (probably constantly on the move, doing a lot of physical activities) than those on sedentary mode, or (2) the time bomb effect: HIDDEN OBESE. Go google.

Basically a healthy snack should provide about 200 calories or less, and should contain a combination of fuel sources. It is also important for us to look for a snack that contains hunger-fighting protein and some heart-healthy unsaturated fat (like those in nuts, seeds, fatty fish, oils, avocados and olives). Avoid snacks that are nutrient-poor, meaning they provide calories but little to no beneficial nutrients like vitamins, minerals, and fiber.

Now, why snacks?

  • Provide energy (sustain energy boost throughout the day, ease hunger pangs).
  • Prevent overeating later the day (indirectly helps to reduced sugar and fat intake).
  • Keep metabolism rate reviving.
  • Healthy snacks are great sources of vitamins and minerals.

Finally, below are among my favorite snacks which first, low calories (below 150kcal, infact most of it below 100 pun) and second, contain high fiber, vitamins and minerals and third, minimal sugar and no saturated fats. :)

TIPS: Getting Kids to Brush Teeth

TIPS: Getting Kids to Brush Teeth

That's Adam, brushing his teeth in the kitchen sink. My first born, 3.5 years old and you know what? keeping a clean healthy set of teeth is one of his life major concerns. Yes, of all the things that revolve around him, menjaga gigi is just so important that he doesn't mind for not eating chocolate. And candy and jajan whatsoever.

Because the first time I gave him chocolate, he was freaked out to see his teeth turning very brown and thought the situation going to be as such permanently. Miahahaha! point taken, so I explained "Kalau Adam suka makan banyak chocolate, candy and tak gosok gigi, nanti jadi hitam balik." I guess lesson learnt lah kot lepas tu haha.

As he grows, he understands that tooth brushing is part of his daily routine that he needs to do at least twice a day. Aiman follows suit. Apa Abang buat, Adik buat also. Except that we have to do it for him first before allowing him to repeat again on his own.

Anyway, below are some useful tips that we have applied, to make tooth brushing routine work for them.

Start early. Well, this point, the biggest credit should go to my mom and my cousin Suraya and then only me, haha. The ones yang buat rutin cuci gums and tongue despite being bitten numerous times by the boys haha. One tough job okels, to gently wipe and rub the gums with soft cloth soaked in warm water. Usually buat after each feeding.

My boys have 2-3 tooth brushes for them to choose each time to brush their teeth. And yes, buy the fancy ones for them. Now ada yang with blinking light lah, Thomas Train tooth brush and etc. Engage your kids also when buying the supplies; something very simple but important to keep the spirit up. And owh, use those colorful Ikea plastic cups for rinsing.

Important! Until your child is big enough to rinse and spit, don't use toothpaste. Tho some brands indicate 'Safe to Swallow', I decided not to take the risk. Now both boys are above two, so yes toothpaste is in use but only a small pea size each time. Too much takut overwhelm their mouth with toothpaste foam.

Fun stuff is contagious! Singing, laughing, making sounds, story telling and all sort of possible fun things that you may think, sila buat. For us, this Bangun Pagi Gosok Gigi song is a ritual for every tooth brushing session. But the next verse varies, depends on what Adam and Aiman request; something like "Bangun pagi, gosok gigi, cuci kereta, main lori, pakai baju, minum susu, pergi Rumah Jaja hari-hari" Hahaha.

Lead by example by allowing them to watch us brush teeth. Come on, this is an everyday must-do-thing kot? ;) If not morning then night time, shouldn't be a problem then. Sometimes, I even get into the action by joining them brushing their teeth, even though I just did mine before. The more the merrier, kids love that.

Most importantly, please, lower your expectations. They just don't do it right first time. Not even the 10th time pun but surely the more practice they get, the faster they will improve. And don't forget to praise and praise and praise for their awesome brushing job. Do not under estimate the positive power of one praise can be. :) Trust me.

Adam & Eczema

Adam & Eczema

Ok, since lately ni ramai bertanya progress Adam dan eczemanya, mostly sebab nak buat reference kepada condition anak masing-masing, jadi marilah saya cerita serba sedikit ok?

Eczema still there. Dia memang tak hilang, ikut suka hati nak flare up bila. And now that the weather is not very good, unpredictable with on and off hujan panas, so adalah masa dia tergaru-garu Hagemaru and batuk also.

BUT.

His condition now is MUCH MUCH better that what he was before. Masa 2yo below tu, adoyaiii, tiap-tiap bulan ziarah Pantai Hospital Bangsar. Belum kira check in check out ward, siap pernah raya haji lagi dalam tu. Alhamdulillah now, keadaan lebih baik. Moving to age 4 next year, mungkin antibodi makin stronglah, tapi macam semua doctors yang kami jumpa cakap, Eczema never goes away. Dia hibernate saja. :P

And we decided not to control him strictly lagi macam dulu. We decided to let his body to adjust and adapt to the environment. No longer say no to so many things.

Nak makan telur? Makanlah. But not so often lah. Seminggu 2 kali tu ok je tengok. Cheese and other dairy products pun ok je makan. Nak makan chocolate? Ice cream? Makanlah. He has already missed that part for long, tapi tu lah dia tak minat sangat sweet stuff, apa nak buatkan.

Nak lari? Nak lompat? Nak swimming? Buatlah. Buat semua. Agak nampak penat, kita bagi Ventolin. Nak pegang pets? Kucing in particular, ok boleh, tapi sikit-sikit lepas tu kita basuh tangan bersih-bersih. Tapi kita tak bela lah ok?

Formula milk, no longer drinking Isomil. Now switch to Pediasure. Tapi kalau habis tak sempat beli, hentam je Anmum Essentials Aiman punya. Still ok, no side effect gatal-gatal ke apa. Alhamdulillah. Rumah kita pun ada carpet, tapi ini memang hentam guna Rainbow vacuum lah nak bagi bersih.

Sebab paed yang cakap, jangan restrict dia sangat nanti dia lembik nanti apa pun tak boleh. Adam calls his Ventolin and Seretide puffs as Oksigen. Hahaha. So hari-hari dia akan remind us "Mana Oksigen Adam? Adam nak kena pakai Oksigen ni" Aku tatau la dia sedut udara ni apa, Carbon Dioxide ka apaaa. Hihihi.

The only thing yang I memang pantangkan is seafood. Tapi Adam pun memang tak show any interest nak makan udang ke, ketam ke, apa ke. Bila I offer, dia pulak jawab "Adam ada eczema. Taknak lah" So bagus, selamatlah and senanglah kerja kita.

Demam selsema pun kurang dah sangat. And paling penting, dah boleh accept oral medication! Ya Allah seriously, we felt like winning a battle bila Adam mau makan ubat tau. Dulu punyalah susah sampai kadang-kadang kita terpaksa menyakiti dia semata untuk suap ubat. But not anymore now. Cuma Paracetamol a bit susah to pujuk tapi bolehlah makan.

Macam mana kita buat?

Ini susah a bit. Sebab agak mengambil masa untuk tanya dia betul-betul kenapa dia takut sangat makan ubat. Mungkin sebab dia dah pandai express perasaan dia, so he told us dia takut muntah bila makan ubat. Then, it took us few times to pujuk him makan ubat and the first shot dia makan, kita puji dia berbakul on how strong and brave and big boy that he can makan ubat and tak muntah pun. Kita orang cakap sebab "Adam dah 3 tahun, sudah big boy. Masa baby jer muntah" ^____^ Basically it's about building up his confidence level to accept ubat and to convince him that he will no longer vomit  after taking any oral medication. Everytime dia makan ubat, satu rumah kot tepuk tangan nak bagi dia konfiden habis-habisan. Haha.

Harap keadaan bertambah baik, if not hilang terus, maintain boleh buat activity macam kids lain dah ok sangat. Boleh makan apa yang Aiman makan hahaha tu dah bagus sangat. :P Takdak lah terkebil-kebil tengok Aiman makan cheese sorang-sorang. Hehehe...

Crunchy Dijon Salad

Crunchy Dijon Salad

That was my dinner for yesterday.

Like I mentioned on my Instagram, I will only be able to satiate my orang putih taste buds when husband is not having dinner at home. :P Otherwise, nasi it is. So yesterday was one of the days and since I've been craving for salad since a week ago, I decided to make one.

No, I donch like the instant ones sold in supermarket, dressing tak kick langsung. Instead, I called my auntie and asked for her awesome salad dressing recipe ^_____^ because I remember once, eating this dijon-seafood-salad at her place. Memang terbaik.

Ok, just in case ada yang bertanya "Dijon what???" ini ialah mustard. Kiranya antara one of prepared mustards lah and the name came from a place where the recipe originates (Dijon, a region in France).

Bold Dijon mustard, crunchy salad, grilled shrimps, light hints of lemon and garlic, that creates a perfect bowl of salad with just balance flavors. For every salad lover, try this, at least your mouth will thank you for this.

How to:
[1] Peel and devein the shrimp. Sprinkle with sugar, salt and olive oil and grill.

[2] Place salad in a medium sized bowl, wash and toss. Whatever salad you like. (I added bell pepper and large onion to make it more flavorsome)

[3] Salad dressing: Add 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tsp olive oil, fresh lemon juice, 1 tsp garlic - grated, 1/2 tsp sugar, ground black pepper, salt, mix well.

[4] Drizzle dressing over salad but please don't drown your greens. Mustard is strong ok. Mix and garnish as desired.

[5] Dig in and enjoy!

Those yang tengah on diet, boleh try. At least it keeps you away from the usual boring salad hehehe.

P/S: Thank you Cik Jah for the recipe. :) Next itching to try daging dendeng, tapi yang ni kena pi berguru dekat dapur Desa Haras, kena hands on hehehe..

No more chappy lips!

No more chappy lips!

Well, box 1 Ephyra saya sudah settle and now going on my 2nd box pulak. Latest improvement yang dapat rasa ialah bibir dah tak kering macam dulu. SUNGGUH. No longer in need of Vaseline haha, Paul Frank lip balm beli kat Watsons sudah memadai. If not, I tak boleh guna normal lip balm because it doesn't help at all and must always resorted to the petroleum jelly. Not anymore now :)

Then skin pun dah less dry (leg parts especially), so yes, this is my next hoyehhhh progress. But of course I must not stop here, and owh please, water is a must too. Water is a medium to everything. Medium to transport nutrients to every part of the body and to flush out toxins and stuff. Ok, faham ye?

Between, kena ingat juga yer, collagen bukan semata untuk muka, it benefits the whole body. If you don't see the difference on your face, trust me, mesti ada bahagian lagi pada tubuh badan yang kita dapat improvement. Termasuk energy ;)

Progress wise, depends pada tubuh badan kita sendiri macam mana. Perfectly fit healthy body usually will get faster results, well obviously sebab less repairs need to be done kan heheh :) So cepatlah restore youthful look itu :P Kalau badan banyak toxins, of course it may take awhile untuk progress okies. But don't worry, it will surely do wonders punya.

Last but not least, kat bawah ni list of Ephyra benefits for your reference.
  • Improves skin elasticity, making it soft and glowing.
  • Improves skin condition from freckles and blemishes.
  • Prevent wrinkles and smoothen fine lines.
  • Proven Anti Aging Formula.
  • Improves hair quality for more healthy, soft and shiny.
  • Contain high prebiotics benefits.
  • Improve digestive system in the body.
  • Help to reduce cholesterol level.
  • Improves energy and concentration.
  • Boosts your immune system.
  • Help to solve insomnia problem.
  • Aids in weight control and help increasing your metabolism.
  • Relieves arthritis and joint pains.
  • Promotes cardiovascular health.

AND, read below link for further explanation. Info I dapat from internet, to match those points stated above ;)

Collagen is a protein that provides structure and strength to cells, tissues, tendons, bones, ligaments, cartilage and skin. It forms in sturdy bundles and ropes called collagen fibers, working alongside keratin to keep skin youthful and wrinkle-free. Collagen is the main component in all connective tissues and it is what keeps joints cushioned and muscles strong. According to an article in the British Journal of Dermatology (Vol 93, Issue 6), as we age we lose collagen, which accounts for thickness and density of the skin. Women also have lower amounts of collagen than men at all ages. Collagen supplements promise to not only restore skin's elasticity, but relieve joint pain, build lean muscle, reduce fat and rejuvenate hair and nails.

Do you give your child vitamins?

Do you give your child vitamins?

I do. I give my boys, age 3 and 2, multivitamins everyday mainly because Adam is a picky eater and can be very fussy too sometimes. All that he wants is a combo of pasta, egg and cheese! But for someone who has eczema, obviously he can't have those foods everyday, otherwise his skin would flare up like no one's business. So AH's pediatrician recommended that we give multivitamins to Adam and might just as well feed the same to Aiman.

Pharmaton Kiddi multivitamin syrup with LYSINE is for Adam only. Lysine helps to support children immune system and promotes good appetite. Aiman has no problem with foods, he can even eat kari and sambal belacan like I do. -_____-" He eats piles of veggies and fruits, hence we got nothing to repair on his appetite. :P Appeton multivitamin Hi-Q Taurine and Appeton Vitamin C are for Adam & Aiman and both vitamins are in chewable tablet.

Not that my boys really need all but at least by giving those, Adam rarely falls sick now and even if he does, he bounces back rather quickly too (plus his tremendous record of no hospitalization for one year already! alhamdulillah!) If not, every now and then ada hospital visits :'(

But please be careful with type of vitamins that you plan to give to your children. Some of those are not regulated and you may never know what is inside. The best way is to consult your doctor first. But I personally see that if a kid has a well rounded diet, multivitamins may not be necessary for them.

And again, just to remind ourselves, vitamins are not a substitute to good healthy meals ok? We can't just rely on vitamins even if the kid has a really poor diet. Yes multivitamins is a need but we as a parent still need to take a good steps to improve our children eating habits. Must always remember that. :)

Oh, just another side story, we are now in the midst of changing Adam's formula milk from a soy based Isomil to Pediasure which is claimed to be good for a picky eater like him. He's adapting well to it, so far no allergies and bad reactions to that. And it's lactose free. My only hope is to see him gain at least another kilo to make up to number 14 because his weight has remained stagnant at 13kg for quite a while now. Aiman on the other hand just gained another 500g that makes him a 16kg toddler. -_____-" Overdosed ketupat raya ker apa ni. :P
