Cuti Melbourne - Philip Island Wildlife Park and The Nobbies

Ok, jom sambung Melbourne Day 2. *while I'm rajin to blog for now*.

Second day semua orang dah bersemangat nak mulakan agenda Melbourne and we decided to kick off the exploration with Philip Island Wildlife Park. Reason being sebab kids tu je lah. Travelling with 5 kids all below five is a no joke thing especially if they're seated for too long in the van. You need to thoroughly plan the itinerary so the whole trip is less a nightmare haha.

So Shilashower as Chef tak berapa bertauliah, I started my day early sebab nak kena masak untuk 11 orang. Yang tak kena buat cuma masak nasi, sebab tu Amy dah cop for the entire trip haha. Pada tahap kecekapan masak yang tak sampai average hahaha boleh jugak la wujud kari ayam, ayam masak kicap, ayam padprik and telur dadar untuk santapan lunch kami semua. Licin wehhh. Tiada pembaziran langsung. Cuma tak pasti habis tu sebab sedap atau sejuk kelaparan so kira bedal je lah semua kehkehkeh.

From CBD nak sampai ke Philip Island tu, adalah 2 kali toilet and coffee breaks. After all kids tu kena lepas kan kejap bagi lari-lari sikit so dia orang tak sempatlah nak buat perangai dalam kereta. Being all prepared konon-kononnya, tengok sandwich pun ahkak boleh buat dalam van. Very mak-mak like that haha.

From Coburg (house) to Philip Island jarak dia approximately 150km macam tu. Macam tak jauh pun, tapi sebab speed limit maka pemanduan berhemah adalah sangat perlu, so kena chillex je lah menikmati perjalanan. Tu yang sampai dua kali berhenti tu hahaha. As for direction, guna GPS je, tapi manually pun kita ada print route details from Google Maps. Masukkan start and end point, pilih option yang NO TOLLS and nanti dia bagi lah jalan mana yang patut lalu. Quite straight forward so tak payah risau nak sesat. Lagi pun dekat bumi orang, kalau sesat pun, enjoy je pemandangan and keadaan sekeliling, tak stress punya macam sesat dekat Malaysia haha.

Bila dah sampai depan Wildlife Park area tu, kita park kereta, lunch and solat dulu. Tak ada orang pun masa tu dekat park tu, takut jugak kita orang, kot-kot park tutup. Maybe weekday and off peak kot. The entire time dalam park tu, ada lah group kami and another 2-3 couples that probably on honeymoon. Memang bersuka ria lah kami dalam park yang besar tu.

Ni edisi berkelah yang pertama. Haaa, memang terasa kenikmatan lauk Malaysia kat sini. Dengan sejuknya, sekali angin tiup nasi panas terus sejuk. Part paling mencabar ialah bila nak amik wuduk. Haha, Memang macam ujian ketahanan sejuk jugaklah. Freezing ok.

Ok settle semua, jom lah kita masuk Philip Island Wildlife Park ni.

Adults: $17
Kid (4-14): $8.50
Family (2A + 3K): $46

Dapat one bag of kangaroo food for every purchased ticket. Kalau nak extra, boleh beli 50 cent.

Masuk-masuk je ni Wallabies berkeliaran tunggu. I thought Adam and Aiman ni tak berani dengan animals tapi tekaan ku salah sekali. Siap dengan yakin bercakap dengan haiwan sekitar hahaha. Boleh tanya Wallabies bila makanan dah habis, "do you want somemore??" Hahaha.

Koala ada, tapi tidur je. Dah la muka malas, gebu gemok pulak koala tu. Memang kalau dapat, kena picit binatang ni japgi. Ada banyak lagi animals; Dingoes, Wombat, Tasmanian Devils, Emu and other favorite Australian animals but semua orang paling look forward nak jumpa Kangaroo lah.

Pesanan: They may look cute but they can be harmful too ok. Sila berhati-hati bagi yang membawa anak kecil. Ha gituuu pesanan.

Kangaroos ni boleh boxing ok dengan kita sekali bila dia nak berebut makanan. Sekali dia debik muka baru tau. Belum lagi bila dia boing-boing lompat macam nak terjah kita haha. Kawasan dia sangat besar, so janganlah berangan bila masuk tu boleh cepat-cepat keluar hehe. Tapi kids memang enjoy this open range kangaroo paddock but again, parents please monitor your kids closely as kangaroos are appealing but can be very wild too.

Done with Wildlife Park ni, since ada sejam lebih lagi before hari betul-betul gelap, we decided to visit The Nobbies.

Subhanallah for the spectacular coastal view. The sky, the ocean, the rocks and even the grass are magnificent! I bet photographer memang suka sangat kawasan sini. Worth a visit, even for a quick stop, so kalau ada masa, singgah sini ok? The Nobbies.

On the way balik tu singgah jugak Pannys Chocolate Factory. Tapi tak lama, sebab kedai pun nak tutup dah, so takde la nak tour tengok chocolate production ke apa. As for the shop, the chocolates are expensive (walaupun sedap) so that area is best kept for adults haha. Kalau tak jenuh tepis macam kami. Pergi Woolies melambak lagi chocolate best and sedap. Hehe.

So done with Philip Island. Everybody zonked out on the way back home except for the guys haha sebab dia orang kena figure out jalan balik because somehow, GPS malam tu merambu ramba sikit. So it took a little longer to reach Coburg. Malam tu dinner semua tapau kebab, except for the kids makan nasi dekat rumah.
