Hello people!

We are back from Singapore :'(

We really had a great time there as we managed to enjoy ourselves during the inaugural Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards dinner to visiting beautiful places and splurging on some retail therapy at Singapore's premier shopping district: Orchard Road. Absolutely wonderful holiday, despite of a series of unfortunate events that happened during our stay. *Huahuahuahua*

One thing that I like most about Singapore is their clean and green awareness. City parks can be found everywhere eventhough they are so urbanized and I really love those giant trees covering the roads. And one more, to me their clean public toilet really provides a huge peace of mind.

We stayed at Link Hotel that is located in Tiong Bahru district, with 5-minutes-drive to Singapore's biggest shopping mall, Vivocity. *Yeah, that was where we ended our sponsored vacation in great style* It's a boutique style hotel with rooms decorated in four ethnic themes. The room was nice but not that spacious, the bed was comfortable, flat screen tele, free internet broadband and complete complimentary toiletries provided. And owh, the staff were friendly and helpful too. Hurmmm, I think that's basically about the hotel.

Now comes the blog awards and dinner part.

Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards was held in Pan Pacific Grand Ballroom, Singapore with hundreds of bloggers from four countries gathered all glitz and glamour. The event was pretty straight forward, announcing XiaXue as the Region's Best Blog. In fact, she takes home another 2 awards namely The Most Influential Blog and Best Blog Design.

Overall, the night was entertaining, with Allan Wu as the host and most importantly, we got the chance to walk down the red carpet like a hot celebrities. But our 4 course vegetarian dinner was a bit of dissapointment, not even OK-lah for that matter and left us all hungry again by the end of ceremony. Come to think of it, fine lah, free things kan, what is there to complaint anyway? After all, there are more exciting activities planned for us and that closed this tasteless dinner story to end.
