Disneyland Hong Kong - Part 2 (Review: Disney's Hollywood Hotel)

Good morning all! (Morning sebab now pukul 3.05AM)

Apa? Dah Monday? Kerja? Tiada masalah lagi. Hewhewhewhew...one the good things of berhenti kerja, who cares esok hari apa. Baru sudah buat laundry, mata pun cerah lagi belum rasa nak tidur, jadi jomlah update blog sebelum dia masuk zone bersawang balik hehe.

Cerita part 1 boleh baca dekat sini, just in case tiba-tiba confuse why this makcik suddenly-suddenly buat review Disney's Hollywood Hotel kan.

Dapat check-in memang about 2pm. Memang tak dapat awal sebab full house, yer la kan Christmas and Year End holidays so guests memang ramai. Kami semua memang tunggu nak landing atas katil jer ni, sebab flight subuh hari, sampai Hong Kong punya awal without proper plan nak merayap mana. Macam mistake jugak sebab tak buat alternative plan kalau sampai awal, or patut beli 2-day entrance ticket, boleh jugak masuk park dulu. The reason that I didn't buy the 2-day pass sebab baca reviews semua cakap Disneyland Hong Kong tu kecik jer.

Well, it maybe small for a couple la kot, but a for a family with kids/toddlers (what's more for those with baby), 2-day pass would be a better option. Sebab bila dengan budak-budak, ada masa kita kena allocate untuk break, bagi minum, bagi rehat, layan cranky, layan beli barang, toilet stop and etc. Not that possible to try every ride and attraction without any pit-stop in between. And quite time consuming for that.

Morale of the story, kalau sampai any Disneyland's hotel tu awal, you can either:

1) Make a trip to the city centre (take the train at the Disneyland Station, tapi plan lah nak stop dekat which tourist spots).

2) Go to Citygate Outlet; last day kami baru tau tempat ni only 10 minutes away from Disneyland area. Dekat gila kot. Menyesal melangut dekat lobby hotel lama haha.

3) Buy 2-day Disneyland pass so boleh masuk terus and enjoy sampai malam. Or tengah hari boleh balik check-in and then petang masuk balik park for the fireworks show.

Janganlah melangut membuang masa lalu tidur di lobby hotel. Macam kami. T____T

Eh, panjang pulak cerita. Ok sambung review bilik.

The room was clean and spacious (well, relatively a big room compared to HK standards). Two comfortable double beds is definitely a winning point; can easily take two persons per bed.

Decorations throughout the room & bathroom are all about Mickey. "Mickey" toiletries, robes, slippers, mirror, soap dispenser, basically you can just see the "mickey" icon almost everywhere; ok not just the room, the hotel entirely. And we being the #villagepeople hahaha, whatever there yang boleh bawak balik, semua sumbat masuk luggage. :P

Amenities in the room quite standard; kettle with tea and coffee facilities, iron and ironing board, safe box, hair dryer and mini bar. Standard kan? I booked pun Garden view (hok ni je muroh hehehehe), so the room view was nothing to shout about. Cable tv network on flat screen and broadband service available. Plenty of power-points, so bagus jugak ni.

On a side note, yang paling penting lagi utama, this hotel offers free shuttle service to Disneyland park (quite frequent jugak) and free luggage storage service. Concierge service was fantastic, friendly and able to provide good info of getting around Hong Kong. Tip top! And the room access cards, you can keep it to yourself, tak payah return, katanya souvenir from hotel gitu. ;)

To sum up, our stay was magical to the kids and convenient to the parents. They enjoyed every bit of it (and Mummy pun sama! hehe).
